I had my first contact with Maynooth University in 2013, when I started an English course with the language centre. I stayed on for another year studying biotechnology and returned to the University in 2016 to pursue my PhD in Biology. Since the beginning I have only had good experiences. The University allowed me to specialize in my field and to network with companies and other members of society. From a beautiful campus to amazing studying facilities I have found at Maynooth University the perfect place to prepare myself for future careers and to enjoy the beauties of the Irish countryside. Maynooth town also offers several activities to relax after your working/studying hours. The town is filled with nice and authentic Irish pubs and surrounded by parks and green fields that also include a nice waterfall. If I could give any advice to students coming to Maynooth University I would definitely tell them to enjoy the most of the University surroundings and to make sure you meet as many people as you can, from staff to students, everyone is very friendly and willing to help.
